Downed Pakistani F-16 pilot Wing Commander Shahzaz Ud Din died in mob lynching 

According to Indian Air Force sources,the downed Pakistani F-16 pilot Wing Commander Shahzaz Ud Din died in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) mob lynching after reaching ground.

If true, may his soul rest in peace. Pakistani F-16 pilot Wing Commander Shahzaz Ud Din, according to Indian Air Force Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar, is the son of Air marshal Wasim Ud Din of Pakistan Air force.

The two injured Pakistan Air Force Pilots ejected successfully from the downed F-16B. On reaching ground, they took evasive actions to disguise their PAF identity thinking they fell in Jammu and Kashmir where Indian Army was present.

The locals took notice of the escaping PAF pilots and their indication and camouflage that they were Indian Air Force pilots. The local population who are bombarded by Pakistan and India relentlessly got hold of the two PAF pilots and started beating them up.

Wing Commander Shahzaz Ud Din died from lynching by the mob. The other PAF pilot was badly injured and was rescued Pakistan Army and taken to Hospital.

Pakistan maintains that both aircraft downed were Mig 21 Bisons of IAF.
